Construction Workflow

Commercial Plumbing Across the Project Phases

Every project is different, but defined phases make responsibilities, progress, and coordination easier to understand.

1

Preconstruction

Review available plans, specifications, fixture information, site conditions, and plumbing scope.

2

Underground & Rough-In

Install concealed systems and coordinate required inspections before close-in.

3

Top-Out & Testing

Complete distribution and DWV systems, testing, corrections, and trade coordination.

4

Trim & Final

Install fixtures and equipment connections, complete testing, and address final plumbing scope.

Planning Matters

Protecting Operations and the Project Schedule

Commercial work often requires more than completing the physical installation. Occupied spaces, shutdowns, site access, inspections, material lead times, and changes by other trades can all affect the plumbing schedule.

Access: Identify occupied areas, restricted spaces, working hours, and responsible contacts.
Shutdowns: Discuss affected systems, expected duration, isolation points, and restart planning.
Documentation: Define the available plans, specifications, fixture schedules, and requested proposal detail.
Changes: Communicate concealed conditions, conflicts, and work outside the authorized scope.

Commercial Questions

Information That Helps Us Review Your Request

What should I send for a commercial project?

Provide the project address, requested schedule, plumbing drawings and specifications when available, fixture information, bid instructions, and the name of the primary contact.

Can Oasis work in occupied properties?

Yes, depending on scope and site conditions. Access, work-area protection, shutdowns, occupant communication, and permitted working hours should be discussed in advance.

Do you perform tenant-improvement plumbing?

Yes. Oasis can support modifications to existing plumbing, new fixture rough-ins, equipment connections, testing, trim, and related construction phases.

Do you provide 24/7 emergency coverage?

Not currently. Requests received after 6 PM are reviewed the next business day. Active commercial agreements and planned shutdown work are handled according to the agreed scope and schedule.

Proposal accuracy: Pricing and scheduling depend on the documents and site information available at the time of review. Concealed conditions, design changes, permit requirements, owner-supplied items, and work by others should be identified wherever possible.
