Installation Details Matter
A New Fixture Still Depends on the Existing Plumbing
Before installation, we review the fixture, mounting surface, rough-in, shutoffs, supplies, drain, venting, clearances, accessibility, finish condition, and compatibility with the existing system.
Repair or Replace?
The Right Recommendation Depends on More Than Age
Repair May Make Sense When
- The fixture is serviceable and parts are available
- The body, finish, mounting, and connections remain sound
- The problem is isolated to a replaceable component
- The repair provides reasonable value and reliability
Replacement May Make Sense When
- Parts are unavailable, obsolete, or repeatedly failing
- The fixture body, base, tank, mounting, or finish is damaged
- Existing connections or rough-in require broader correction
- Replacement better supports the customer’s project goals

Fixture Questions
Helpful Details Before Scheduling
Can I supply my own fixture?
Yes, when the fixture is complete, undamaged, code-appropriate, and compatible with the existing rough-in and connections. Missing or incompatible parts may change the scope.
Do you repair faucets and toilets, or only replace them?
Both. We consider part availability, condition, repair history, access, cost, and expected reliability before recommending an option.
Can you install specialty or customer-selected fixtures?
Often, after confirming specifications, mounting requirements, connections, clearances, manufacturer instructions, and any work required by other trades.
Are drywall, tile, countertops, cabinets, paint, or electrical work included?
Only when specifically stated. Access, finish repair, specialty mounting, electrical changes, and work by other trades should be identified before authorization.
